Dr. Rita K. Han received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. After graduation, she pursued post-doctoral training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Masters in Medical Science, and is one of the few clinicians worldwide to hold dual specialty certificates in both prosthodontics and periodontics. While at Harvard, Dr. Han received the inaugural MIS Fellowship in periodontics and implant dentistry, and worked on various research projects focused on dental implants and presented nationally and internationally on the subject. Dr. Han is a board certified periodontist specializing in placement and restoration of dental implants, periodontal surgeries and is a board eligible prosthodontist specializing in major restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
She is certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics to deliver Botox treatment to address cosmetic concerns and treat issues associated with the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Since joining the practice, she has been involved with team coverage for the Boston Bruins.
Dr. Han stays current with continuing education through diverse dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, American Board of Periodontology, Harvard Odonatological Society and American Academy of Dental Science.
